Become a Volunteer
To become a Friend of the “Friends Camp St. Basil Society” is simple. If you are a practicing Ukrainian Catholic and a registered member of a Ukrainian Catholic Parish in the Edmonton Eparchy that is served by the Priests of the “Order of St. Basil the Great in Canada” you are eligible to join.

Volunteer Positions
Camp Clean up
Duties: Consists of window washing, cheap cleaning facilities and sanitizing, ambulance yard clean up, railroad work, waterfront clean up, plus many more clean up work items.
Requirements: Just your own talents in whatever they may be that will assist in the annual spring clean up.
Kitchen Help
Duties: To assist the Chef’s at the Camp in meal preparation, kitchen clean up and other kitchen related duties
Requirements: A Certificate in Food Management would be an asset, but is not required as the Chef’s have their certificates.
Camp Supervision
Duties: To supervise the camp and students during the night from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Requirements: Not be afraid of the dark, and be able to stay awake at night.
